Hi,
Please, did you manage to disconnect the volume button from PCB and if so, how did you get it?
This knob for switching sources is easily disconnected by pulling but the volume button just does not go in such a way…
Or at least I do not know how.
Many thanks
desolder?
Thank you for your reply!
I’m not an expert, but I’m completely convinced that it has nothing to do with soldering.
Simply, this volume knob (as well as all other; for source selector, bass, treble, balance…) when assembling components is almost always mounted at the end of everything.
So when disassembling the process is reversed. First all knobs must be removed so pcb board can be separated from the front panel.
Please see the first photo, that knob is just pulled off the potentiometer. It is logical to do so also with the volume knob. Still, the knob just does not go down. Maybe needs to pull it harder. But I just do not want to break something. Although I doubt, maybe something is attached with the screw on the front panel from inside because of motorized circuit for volume control with remote?
Perfect, thanks. Opened and cleaned the selector. Now it is working perfectly again.
How long? I will see.
Aus Versehen in Englisch.
(Ich habe es sogar ohne Entlöten geschafft.)
